Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Madrank Digital Ltd (“Madrank”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit madrank.com (the “Site”), submit a briefing or other inquiry, subscribe to communications, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site or providing personal information, you acknowledge this Policy. Where consent is required by law, we will request it separately.
1. Controller identity
The data controller is:
Madrank Digital Ltd
VAT / tax ID: 515940005
Address: Kfar Bloom 99, Kfar Blum, Israel
Email: office@madrank.com
Phone: +972-52-6660335
2. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Identity & contact data — first name, last name, email address, mobile/phone number, company or project website, and other details you include in messages.
- AI-readiness scan data — the website URL you submit for a homepage AI-search scan, your email address, optional name, and advertising click identifiers (such as gclid and UTM parameters). We fetch the submitted URL, plus that host’s robots.txt and llms.txt files, solely to generate the report you requested. This is an authorized diagnostic of a site you control or are evaluating, not a general web crawl.
- Inquiry / briefing data — business description and qualification answers (for example approximate revenue, marketing spend, client lifetime value, and preferred start timing) submitted via our contact form or by email.
- Newsletter data — email address if you subscribe via the Site footer or other forms.
- Technical & usage data — IP address, browser type, device/OS information, referring URLs, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and timestamps, collected via server logs, cookies, and similar technologies.
- Analytics data — aggregated or pseudonymous measurement of Site usage (including via Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, where enabled).
We do not intentionally collect special-category (sensitive) personal data through the Site. Please do not submit health, biometric, or similarly sensitive information in forms.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- Run the homepage AI-search scan you request and email you the scored report;
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Site and our services;
- Send communications you request (including newsletters) and service-related notices;
- Measure Site performance and understand how the Site is used;
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms;
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your location, we rely on one or more of the following bases under the EU/UK GDPR and similar laws: performance of a contract or steps prior to contracting; legitimate interests (operating and securing our business and Site, responding to B2B inquiries, and improving services — balanced against your rights); consent (where required, e.g. certain cookies or marketing emails); and legal obligation. Under Israel’s Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 (and regulations thereunder), we process personal information for the purposes described in this Policy and in accordance with applicable Israeli requirements.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for essential Site operation, security, preferences, and analytics. Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics may set or read identifiers to help us understand traffic and performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect Site functionality. Where required by law, we will obtain consent before non-essential cookies.
6. Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal information. We share personal information only as needed with:
- Service providers / processors who assist us, including website hosting and deployment (e.g. Vercel), form delivery (e.g. Formspree), transactional email (e.g. Resend), bot verification (e.g. Cloudflare Turnstile), and analytics and ads measurement (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Ads, Vercel Analytics);
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) under confidentiality obligations;
- Authorities when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or security;
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Processors are engaged under arrangements requiring them to process personal information only on our instructions and to implement appropriate security measures, as required by applicable law.
7. International transfers
We are established in Israel. Personal information may be processed in Israel and in other countries where our providers operate (including the United States and the European Economic Area). Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as standard contractual clauses or other lawful safeguards) and take steps designed to protect your information.
8. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including to manage inquiries and client relationships, comply with legal/accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Inquiry form data is typically retained for a period reasonably necessary to evaluate and follow up on the inquiry, then deleted or anonymized unless a longer period is required (e.g. an active engagement or legal hold).
9. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; data portability; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- Israel — rights under the Privacy Protection Law and related regulations, including access and correction in applicable cases.
- EEA/UK (GDPR) — rights described in Articles 15–22 GDPR, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA) — rights to know/access, delete, correct, and opt-out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined by statute. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. To exercise California rights, contact us as below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
To exercise rights, email office@madrank.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
11. Children
The Site and our services are directed to businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 (or the applicable age of digital consent). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services (including maps or social profiles). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies; we are not responsible for them.
13. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may be highlighted on the Site or communicated by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy where permitted by law.
